A Hot Hawk

This Hawk sculpture is located by the Rochdale Canal in the nearby hamlet of Hawksclough (between Hebden Bridge and Mytholmroyd)  It was inspired by the poem "Hawk Roosting" by Ted Hughes.(ex-Poet Lauriate who was born in Mytholmroyd).
Created by Kenny Hunter in 2013 and made of cast iron.....
Cast Iron?  On a day like today?  Too hot to handle ....
