The Halfway House

This pub is our regular venue for the Keep Fat end of summer term celebration and this year was no exception, with 13 of us gathering tonight for drinks and a meal.

The rest of the day was spent avoiding the heat, although I did my best to make it worse by baking the weekly batch of loaves, apart fro expeditions for shopping and watering the garden for our friends Tony & Rosie who have headed off to Spain.
