I did the historical tour of Shankill (organised by DLR Heritage Series)

It was most interesting

I love local history

And we were told about this rare sight in Ireland - an Irish postbox with ER and a crown on it (sadly graffiti-ed though).

I am currently enjoying a documentary on Johannes Vermeer on Sky Arts -an interesting insight into his life and art
