Book club

I have been a member of a local book club for over two years now. It is a lovely group of women and we meet once a month to discuss allocated book. This month, for the first time, I have gone ‘off piste’ and treated my self to a light ‘holiday read’ of over 700 pages. I have been totally absorbed in it but have not had time ( or inclination??) to read the allocated book. I will confess at next meet up and I’m sure all will be ok!!!
I do feel a bit guilty though!!!
