Turns out my eye appointment in London was on the hottest day ever! These rails at Gatwick didn’t look too buckled though. Everything went smoothly until the return to Gatwick in the afternoon when there were multiple delays. Luckily I managed to get on the delayed Eastbourne service and sweated my way to the airport.
