It weren’t ’alf ’ot mum . . .

Our actual top was 40.2C, but inside we kept a couple of degrees below 30.  In fact by taking things easy with the fan(s) on we actually felt cool all day.
 
Some bad fires in the UK today.   Although we often had crop fires I can’t remember seeing anything as bad and involving buildings as we have seen today.
