Little tree in the sun

I was very grateful for an air conditioned office today. So cool in fact that I wandered across to the field at lunchtime to warm up. I think this pic has something of the feeling of today’s hottest day on UK record.

The news of fires and other tragic events related to the weather is grim. I hope it rains hard down on London tonight. And sitting here sweltering, I am hoping Bath might get a cooling shower too.
