Celebrity MUGSHOTS

When Reese Witherspoon was arrested this week, it gave me this idea. I know a West Michigan artist, Jodi Rietberg-Schmalz , who created series of 5" x 7" acrylic paintings of celebrity mugshots.

So here's the deal: For each of the next 3 - to - 4 days, I will take a photo of a short series of her "MUGSHOTS" and if you want to play: just guess who they are There are one or two ordinary mugs mixed in to make it not so easy.

I love these little paintings because they are about judgment, justice, celebrity worship, the fragility of the human condition, and second chances. How's that for a list?
