Popping up for a peanut

Today was a hot and humid day. I was 35C in the afternoon on my way home from work. I got out for a short walk in the evening as it started to cool a little. I got out for my evening walk and spotted the cardinal singing away but came when he knew I had a peanut. The female was also there looking for a peanut as they were both trying to feed a young one that remained hidden in the bushes.
