Using them up

Though it was a cold start to the growing season,  the soft fruit is now in abundance , something for which our garden was famous in the 60s and 70s apparently though the good harvest is being experienced throughout the area this year. 

Fortunately there are lots of  (delicious) ways to use up the temporary glut, like this Summer Pudding which Cathleen made for friends this afternoon.  

It tasted every bit as good as it looks.
