Phew!

38 degrees with virtually no breeze  made it quite a stifling day  with the day before being much cooler at 37 degrees!
Fortunately our grandchildren had a 9000 litre pool so it was easy to cool off once they had worn themselves out playing.
Overnight the temperatures made sleep uncomfortable but it cooled through the night making it pleasant.
The UK is a country that has occasional extremes of weather and to expect them to all be catered for is unreasonable.
