Sauna included free!

As it was forecast to be too hot for a walk today the Bus Pass Walkers (pictured, and unfortunately with a selfie in the window reflection!) used 5 buses to get to and from Harrogate. The purpose was lunch at the wonderful Mama Doreen’s Emporium.  We had booked, but the computers had gone down, but no problem, we just had to resubmit our orders.  Various items were consumed - Senior Afternoon Tea and the room plus some views from the journey home in extras.  Dread to think how big a “normal” afternoon tea is!  Many people in the Teashop were getting boxes to take their uneaten cakes home with them.  A lovely afternoon and definitely no tea required this evening!  We were alerted to this lovely teashop when we stayed in Harrogate last year by a local who said it was much better than Betty’s and cheaper too, and it is the “go to place” for locals.  Having tried both places I definitely agree!
