Thirsty Work......

We had one very sulky cat in the house today! After yesterday's episode of her panting we kept her indoors for most of the day. She wasn't impressed. But it was a bit of a stretch to explain the reasons why. She'd been out all night so we couldn't understand the complaints.

Even the humans were restricted to barracks for much of the day. We did a small shopping trip and breakfast first thing but that was it all day.

I spent some time watching the wasps drinking from my barrel pond this evening. Even that was a bit warm for me.

We relented on the cat front by the evening, once the sun had disappeared. She just sat about basking in the warmth before wandering off late evening to prowl her territory. Probably not to return until early morning tomorrow.
