Walk on the Wild Side

Up to the Col de Chamois, 2656m, following the snowy gully on the left of centre of the photo. Extras taken at the top of the col including a sleeping young male bouquetin who had found himself some partial shade in a cleft of a rock to the side of the col. To beat the heat of the day we were up there by 10:30am and when we returned spent most of the rest of the day snoozing and reading inside the hut.
