Wild Wednesday: "Brave Bertie"

The first of the three seagull chicks has come down from the chimneys, and I caught him looking up wistfully towards the rooftops. He seems a bit better prepared than many of his predecessors, and I've seen him flying a good fifty yards so hopefully he'll be safe from ground-based predators. I wish him well, even though the little sod has spent most of today camped on the roof of my car which is going to need a serious wash by the time he moves on!!
