A Marsh Mockingbird

While waiting for a friend to meet me at the beach to catch up while drinking our coffee, I wandered into the marsh with my camera.  I found a nesting area with multiple Northern Mockingbirds.  Even though the Cape has not seen rain in almost a month, the vibrant green of the grasses made provided a great background.
Thank you for all of your lovely comments on the shorebirds I've photographed while enjoying the beaches here this month.  I head home tomorrow and will switch to my favorite Maryland subjects (sunflowers, hummingbirds among them) before returning to the Cape again in a few weeks.
