Greenfinch

I did some planning this morning for my trip in July and then nipped out to the shops. Drove back cross-country with blip in mind. The light was beautiful but there was nowhere to stop when I wanted. I didn't feel drawn to anything for a quick blip and I needed to get home.

Back at my desk this afternoon and the birds were on the feeder again. I wasn't going to blip one as I was going to see if I came up with anything later but when I saw this shot I decided it just had to be the photo of the day. Taken through the window from my desk.

Yesterday's bought flowers will have to wait again!
