Cooler today, though still hot in our flat.  We had someone painting the outside of our windows though, so had to close them at times (and at others, open them and let in the fumes) - not ideal.  We employed the air con again :)

Had a good work day - and got out for a walk this afternoon, before the forecast rain was due (it never actually arrived - at least, not yet).  Lovely to be outside again, and for it to be bearable out there.  Most of the heath is looking very dead and dry, but there are still a lot of very healthy looking wildflowers around.  Hardy things.

Tim cooked us one of the Gousto recipes again tonight - delicious (and the first non-salad dinner we've had in a while!)
