School’s Out For Summer

Today was my last day at work. It felt very surreal.
Many parents in the school contributed to some lovely gifts for me and they all gathered outside my class at the end of the day to give them to me and say goodbye. After school we had afternoon tea with the school governors which was a really nice way to end the day. I’m going to see a few members of staff on Saturday which made me feel better but it was hard saying goodbye to the children.
