The garden is so dry….

When I woke this morning I was surprised to find that I has slept for a solid 9 hours on such a horrendous hot sweaty night and been unaware!!! 

Good news No1, it was cooler, but my sewing room is still too hot  to spend much time there.

No 2 was hearing that Jake Wightman has won the 1500 metres at the World Athletics Championships !!! Our first gold of these Champs and the first time we have won this event since Steve Cram won it in 1983. Great to watch and to see his family’s involvement.

I had hoped that there would be a No 3 …….that it had rained, but that was not to be.
