Bees in the Lavender

The shadiest spot in mid-afternoon is to sit right up against the wire garden fence under the apple tree. There's a large English lavender on the other side with long fronds within biting distance. They wave in your face and tickle your ears - as do the honey bees.
Many humble and happy thanks to all the congratulatory comments on reaching 3,000 Blips yesterday.
