(201) Watch The Birdie

Trying out another lens on the infrared converted camera body. Seems to work well enough though focussing at the 35mm end of the zoom might need a bit of manual intervention. A few test shots should decide the matter. This image is one that I couldn't have taken with my previous IR setup which used a very dark filter on the lens and thus required long exposures, leading to any movement in the frame becoming blurred or even disappearing altogether. With the IR camera though, exposure times are as normal so I've caught the bird as thy took flight from the field.
