While the cat’s away ….

Since I’m home alone and it’s too hot to be outside hoicking up weeds, I got out my paints.

I haven’t any natural talent, and had very little education in drawing and painting, but I can’t quite give up the hope that I’ll find a way to make something that I’ll like.

I quite like this .. so I’m not confessing that I was trying for a graduated wash. I will claim that I was thinking of TM, anchored off Islay tonight, within sight of Laphroig. And nothing but beer left in the fridge … shades of Whisky Galore ..
