Daylily season

Hello dear Blippers - I've been away much longer than I meant to and have missed you and your beautiful blips. The spring kind of blurred over, followed by Daniel graduating from high school in June and an unexpected extension of my mom and stepdad's visit due to covid (they're well now and back in Washington). The rest of us managed to avoid it so far. Thank you so much for your nice comments...I'm hoping to keep up now, for the most part at least. 

It's been hot this week and I'm trying to stay out of the sun...so this daylily is standing in a vase. Thinking of everyone who's been coping with the heat, perhaps without the AC we're accustomed to here!
