Inappropriate shoes

Yesterday it was sunny, there were blue skies and it was warm. I needed the AC on in the car. I packed my overnight bag with optimism.

Today it was dark, wet, cold and miserable. I drove through torrential hailstones on the way home, and had an ice warning in the car because the temperature dropped below 4°C. I had to stop in Belfast for a few minutes, and as I was still dressed for spring I ended up with two very cold, wet feet.

On the bright side I got a big pat on the back from my dentist this morning, who still congratulates me on my healthy teeth in exactly the same way he did when I was 7 years old :)
