Larry

We were short of a speaker for our Rotary meeting tonight so Larry stepped up to tell us about his latest exploits. Amongst all his other community activities, he’s the RFS captain and it was in that capacity he spent the last 10 days helping out in the flood ravaged Hunter Valley.
While up the coast, there was a major bio security breakdown in the bee industry (the varroa mite) and Larry got the job of driving the inspectors around to bee farms. We were expecting a talk on flood relief but now we are all experts on the varroa mite and how it can devastate the bee industry.
Larry’s been one of my best friends for over 30 years and we share an interest in motorcycles. I’ll see if I can blip him sometime on his 1800cc Indian Chief.
