I hope no one was hurt

... when this huge branch from an ash tree came crashing down onto the road.  By the time I saw it someone had moved the branch into the field and I thought it was a small tree in its own right that had got damaged in the wind.  (The wind that was so uncharacteristically warm on Tuesday and which fanned the flames of field fires, some of which set fire to houses, including in Barnsley.  We've never seen anything like it here before.

I'd stopped to photograph more corn patterns, this time in the newly cut field of Barley.
