Great Spotted Woodpecker

Junior seems to be managing himself and is a regular visitor. There are fewer birds at the feeders but I am having to change the water in the bird bath and the dog bowl as it seems to get dirty quickly . In the heat and dry weather the birds are happy to get a drink. 
I was at the fruit farm with the not walking group today and we had very nice coffee and wonderful gingerbread. After out coffee and chat we all bought fruit  and gingerbread to take home.
