Which came first!

I though I was seeing things this morning when this pigeon did a strange walk as cross the lawn. When it flew up into the fence I could see it had an egg attached to its undercarriage well the shell at least.
Just managed to grab my camera and take a snap through the kitchen window.
Never seen that before.
