A little cheer along the canal.

This morning we returned to the Kelpies and managed to avoid Mr Sweary and his grumpy mutt. On the way home we took a small detour to the Forth & Clyde Canal. A recent repair to the canal bank was finished off with a patch of wild flowers. Although I think we missed their best by a week or two, they are still looking superb and are just buzzing with bees and lots of other insects. 
Still pleasantly warm today but not so sunny. Rain due tomorrow so we might not need to water the garden tomorrow evening!
