Baby’s Back Again

The young Little Owl owlet that fledged recently, that we saw on the fence post (see previous blip), was in the garden this morning. It seems to be a bit confused between daytime and nighttime. There were some feathers of another bird not far away (possibly pigeon), that maybe Mum & Dad have been teaching it to hunt. It is still not the slightest bit concerned about us watching it. The extra is of the blackbird keeping a close eye on the predator. I think it just wants to be friends at the moment. Much later this evening it appeared on a branch so the the gite guests got to meet it.
