Nottingham: Rock City

To Nottingham today to buy myself a drum kit. Took in a visit to the excellent Music Exchange and Fopp to buy birthday presents etc.
On the way I passed Nottingham Tourist Information Office. Here's a shirt they were selling displayed in the window. Called 'Legends of Nottingham', the backprint lists these so-called 'legends'. I'd take issue with Su Pollard, Leslie Crowther, Meadow Lane 'football' ground and Jimmy Sirrell being described as 'legends'. And Alvin Stardust, whilst rightly described as a 'legend' is from Mansfield. Ho-hum.
