Emergency Stop
We're going to a funeral in Watchet tomorrow so we had decided, as it was the first weekend of the school holidays, which usually means big delays on the M5, to travel down today and stay overnight in Bridgwater, my former home town. The plan was maybe to stop off in Burnham for a pootle before carrying on to the hotel. In the event though I underestimated how busy the M5 was going to be today and I was desperate for a comfort break way before we got to the Burnham exit. Luckily the Clevedon exit came to my rescue. Also luckily mrsfb had £1.30 in change for the car park and 40p for the loos.
As we were there we managed some fish and chips (second time this week) and some photos of the pier, in some very welcome light rain.
We are in the hotel now. It has just taken about 10 minutes to upload my blip with the free wifi.
