Who needs a cliff nesting site?

This lucky herring gull has managed to bag one of the  premier penthouse nesting sites in Peterhead on which to raise her chicks.
Situated downtown at the harbour, the site has its own landing pad, while the elevated position offers delightful sea-views as well as a wonderful outlook across the town. The security fence ensures that owners won't be disturbed by the local riff-raff. A real selling point is that the site is ideally situated for a gourmet dining experience in the local fish-market dustbins.
The site will be back on the market again  next summer.
