Totally Tangerine

Today's the day ..................... to mislead

This is a new dahlia for me this year which has benefitted greatly from the long shower of rain that we had this afternoon.

It's a lovely-looking flower that I bought for my cut flower border.  I liked its name, Totally Tangerine, and I thought it would go with all the other orangey flowers that I have.   But here it is, looking quite pink to me and certainly not 'totally' anything - and  I'm wondering how it got that name?

I wonder if, by any chance, there's a 'Trades Description Act'  that applies to flower names ..................?
