Bowle's mauve

had a friend staying who, like me, is very fond of gardening. We went to visit the nearby garden of plantsman E.A.Bowles, at Myddleton House. These flowers were in a couple of pots at the entrance and were named after him, 'erysimum Bowles mauve' .
