Octopus’ Garden
I last blipped this ‘African Bride’ on Sunday - warning that there would be further blips as flowers gradually transform to seed heads. On Sunday she was perfectly groomed, demure and stretching skywards. By now, those upright stamens have undergone a metamorphosis; tentacles from some fantastic undersea creature, curling limbs probing for a tasty morsel.
This evening’s rain is followed by brief sunshine, so I reject this morning’s shots in favour of the light and droplets.
Thanks to BikerBear for hosting Flower Friday.
