Concert in the woods

In the evening I, Meri-Kaarina and Niina went to Barefoot Path in Retais, Korppoo to a concert of Korpo Sea Jazz. It was a unique experience to listen a concert in the woods and sit on the ground.

The duo, consisting of singer-songwriter Selma Savolainen and contrabassist Eero Tikkanen, offered unique concert experience at dusk on a summer evening in Korpo.  “We think of the island, the sea that surrounds the island. Air, air flow, inhalation and exhalation. The amount of life packed in an instant, one stop. No man is an island. Time and the passage of time. ” say Savolainen and Tikkanen. A wonderful combination of sensitivity, spontaneity and expressiveness promised.

In the extra photo is Nippe, adorable English Springer Spaniel puppy, 14 weeks. Hendry, owner of the villa visited us in the afternoon, he checked loose screws in the dock. Nippe didn't like being left to the boat by herself, so she tried to jump to the deck. Unfortunately she fell into water. She swam nicely to the bank, it was her first swim.
