Smell of a dog

Freezing morning. I think Melbourne’s coldest in a few years.
Heard this morning that the husband of one of my mentors died overnight. Expected death, but gosh, so awful, and far too young.
We finally got around to getting A’s belated birthday party arranged and invitations out. Parental guilt reduced.
Evening out tonight seeing Come Rain or Come Shine. Probably 4 stars. Acting great, sets amazing, some laugh out loud parts, but also characters that were quite unlikeable at (many) times. Grabbed drive through dinner on the way. As per the last two times, lamented not organising dinner out pre-show, but still great to get out.
