One corner of my garden. I expect the peak bloom to be this coming week.
Another hot and humid day. This morning was not too bad, the fog never really burned off until almost lunch time. We are working shorter days for awhile, by 2 pm it is too hot to continue working.
The warm temperatures would not be so bad on their own, but with the humidity the air is like soup. I checked the temperature at one point this afternoon after I came home, and it was 28C and with the humidity it felt like 38C!
My landlord leaves at 5 am tomorrow to visit family in Saskatchewan. He will be gone for 3 weeks. Guess who will be testing the 'dry' function on the heat pump. I can likely raid his vegetable garden too and if the blueberries start to ripen while he is gone, I will be picking them.
