We arrived home at 6.15pm after dark. Over 500km down the coast from Taree to Newcastle where we turned inland along the Hunter Valley, Goulburn Valley, Bylong Valley, Cudgegong Valley and finally the Macquarie Valley. In between were mountains. A long and winding road but as pretty as you would get anywhere.

We have been away 2 months or almost 10 weeks and did 11,456km. Wow. What an experience.

Thanks for all the lovely comments, stars and hearts you sent even though I couldn’t always respond. I think seeing Australia this way you get to appreciate the size, variety and beauty of our landscapes. And we only went to 3 states and the Northern Territory. My favourite places were out in the centre with so much space and amazing rock formations.

Will we go back? Who knows.
