Waiting for the Red Arrows

Yesterday afternoon we were standing in our drive with our neighbours waiting for the Red Arrows,  who were scheduled to be flying from Morecambe to Windermere and on into Scotland for an air show. But they had operational issues and re-scheduled to this morning.  Leave Morecambe at 10:40 and  fly over Windermere at 10:44...............
So, we and many others - you can see them in the Blip,   went to the top of Brant Fell which overlooks Windemere - to wait for the fly past.   We got to the top at 10:15 , early - only to  find rumours on Facebook that the planes had set off an hour early and we'd missed them . The photo was taken at 10:50 . People had hung around just in case the rumours were wrong.
