Boardwalk.

I used to walk this path pushing a buggy, through mud and puddles.  Things have changed and this boardwalk has been built avoiding the mud and puddles.  Also the vegetation has been thinned out and wildflowers are in evidence.  This walk is close to Friar's Crag and Strandshag Bay on the side of Derwentwater.  At 5am this morning there was a lovely 'Golden Hour' in Workington, but from then on the clouds came in and we had rain, so quite lucky to get this shot.
