Dog walk with Mrs M around Blidworth Woods this morning; our first visit. No surprise that group of very courteous MTBers passed us there.  

Supposedly Will Scarlett's grave is in the churchyard of the nearby ex-mining town.

Minster Foundation Summer Concert - Heaven
Yesterday evening. It had a Jubilee /Coronation theme, but also included the second performance of the recent Minster Commissioned piece "Heaven" by Roxanna Panufnik, which sounds as it's title to me. It's set to the words of George Herbert which talks of green men & leaves, that are associated with the Minster.

The ask
..I alone briefly stood up to clap the performance. I mentioned to the Dean how great it would be to perform at every major concert, being our Cathedral anthem. 

No recording is publically (if at all) available, so will ask the Rector Chori about that, next time I see him.
