Distortion
There have recently been some amazing photographs on Blipfoto which capture nature in all it's natural beauty. Using photo-editing software to distort the subject which the eye sees can seem counter-productive and unnecessary. The spiky, succulents and cacti on the windowsill that seemed so exotic through the winter months, now appear dull and a bit bland in comparison with the colourful and vibrant colours to be found in our countryside and gardens.. My blip today and the extra feature a small succulent from the windowsill which has been edited to retain some of it's natural characteristics, while also giving it a sense of benign oppression. Oh well, I have said it now, so I can move things around and create a bit more balance!
