Butterfly Walk

This afternoon I ran my annual guided butterfly walk. The butterflies obliged, we saw 12 species and almost 150 individuals. The highlights were probably the newly emerged Common Blues and Small Coppers. In the middle of the walk we stopped and did the Big Butterfly Count, recording 38 butterflies in the fifteen minute time limit.
