Bad day at Grant Street Park

We went to enjoy a football match, but instead we saw a young man getting badly injured. It happened almost in front of us. (Not pictured.) We heard the crack when the Clachnacudden player's boot hit the Inverurie player's head. At first we thought he was just concussed, but after 15 minutes of attention, the medical team, which included the referee had not moved him. He was conscious but in obvious distress. We thought that the match should have been abandoned. Apparently it wasn't. We left anyway.
