Blakemere

This morning I went for a walk along the canal from Ellesmere. There were plenty of boats around but not many walkers, perhaps the drizzle put them off.

I liked this green corner of Blakemere with it's ferns and yellow waterlily.  It's just the sort of place where Ophelia from Hamlet could have drowned.  Fortunately no such thing happened when I was there.
