Pippa and friend

You may think it silly enough with Mrs W lifting the hound up to get the ball out of the tree, but what about the other image . . . ?
 
You would be forgiven in thinking that Pippa is trying to get the stick out of the tree, but you would be wrong – she is trying to put the stick into the tree . . .  
 
These shots were from videos taken some twenty three years ago -  part of the little (???) project I’ve just started.  We were house-sitting at Mrs W’s digs when she was doing her degree at East Anglia Uni.
 
Pippa had an obsession with getting things out of trees, and if you didn’t oblige she did her best to show you.  It started sometime before when there was a garden party and some lads got her ball stuck up a tree and they were climbing in the branches to get it out – she thought this was great fun.
 
Enough silliness for this Saturday.


To balance things we are expecting a delivery from Cotton Traders by Hermes.  Yesterday they said no one was in – a complete lie as we were in and no vehicles were in the close at or around the time they said – complaints have been made.  Today they said they would deliver between 15:00 and 16:00 – it’s now 18:45 . . .  !!!
