piping pygmy

Another scorcher today, but I spent some time on my back porch hoping to see some hummers come to the freshly filled feeder. And I did! But I was not fast enough (or stealthy enough) to catch them on camera. Meanwhile the nearby pine tree was alive with the music of a flock of Pygmy Nuthatches. I finally saw one on a bare branch.
